Children love being involved in family life, and everyday life games are a great way to let them feel like an important part of the team. Imagine a small child, wearing an oversized apron, delighted to help prepare lunch or sort the laundry. These activities not only encourage their engagement but also develop practical skills such as independence and responsibility.

Offer your child the chance to help with simple tasks: pouring water from one container to another, putting toys into a box, or even wiping the table after a meal. Show them how to do it and tell them they are your most important helper. Watch as your child proudly completes tasks and becomes more independent each time. Eventually, they will be able to perform these tasks without your assistance, which will undoubtedly boost their self-confidence.
Each of these games develops the child's fine motor skills, ability to concentrate, and daily life skills. The Montessori method is based on the idea that children learn through experience, so involving them in daily chores is an excellent way to foster independence and responsibility. Moreover, it strengthens the child's self-confidence and gives them the opportunity to contribute to family life, which is extremely important for their emotional development.
